The Canton Tower is a 600-metre communication and observation tower on the banks of the Pearl River in central Guangzhou. The fourth tallest tower in the world, its distinctive twisted lattice steel form is visible across the city. At night it transforms into a spectacular beacon of shifting coloured lights. The observation deck offers panoramic views across the Pearl River Delta.

Practical Tips
The Sky Drop — a free-fall ride down the outside of the tower — is one of the world's most extreme fairground rides. The observation deck views are best at night when Guangzhou's lights are visible across the delta.
