The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden is the largest botanical garden in China and one of the most important plant research institutions in Asia, covering 1,125 hectares along the Luosuo River. Over 13,000 plant species are cultivated here, including rubber trees, tropical fruits, medicinal plants, and rare rainforest species. The garden is divided into themed sections: the Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area, the Nocturnal Rainforest Walk, the Canopy Walkway, and the spectacular Aerial Tram over the forest canopy. It is genuinely one of the finest botanical experiences in Asia.
