Highlights — Why we like Baofeng Lake

AA

Intro

Baofeng Lake is one of the quieter and most beautiful parts of the Zhangjiajie scenic area. A flooded gorge of emerald-green water enclosed between steep karst cliffs, the lake is accessible by electric boat from the entrance. The boat glides silently through the gorge past overhanging cliff faces, with waterfalls cascading down the rock walls. It offers a completely different experience from the crowded pillar viewpoints — slower, more contemplative, and deeply atmospheric.
