Intro

The Golden Whip Stream (Jinbian Xi) is a 7.5-kilometre trail following a mountain stream through the heart of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Considered one of the most beautiful forest walks in China, the path winds through dense subtropical forest past towering sandstone pillars, with the stream alongside producing a constant gentle sound. Macaques are frequently seen along the trail, and the forest cover keeps the path cool even in summer.
