Intro

Ciqikou (Porcelain Port) is a preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty town on the banks of the Jialing River, about 14 kilometres west of central Chongqing. The narrow cobblestone lanes, traditional wooden buildings, teahouses, and street food stalls create a lively slice of pre-industrial Chongqing life. It is one of the few areas in Chongqing where the older architectural character survives amid the modern city.
