The Yangtze River Cable Car is one of Chongqing's most practical and most thrilling experiences. Strung across the Yangtze between Xinhua Road on the north bank and Wangshan Road on the south bank, the cable car provides a commuter service used by local residents and a spectacular aerial view of the river, gorge, and city for visitors. The crossing takes about 5 minutes and offers unobstructed views up and down the Yangtze valley. An absolute bargain at ¥10 each way.
