Kuanzhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alleys) is a preserved complex of Qing Dynasty courtyard residences and alleyways in central Chengdu. The three parallel lanes — Wide Alley, Narrow Alley, and Well Alley — have been carefully restored and now house teahouses, restaurants, boutiques, and cultural spaces. It is the most atmospheric preserved historic district in Chengdu and the best place to experience traditional Chengdu tea culture.
